In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Grace By Example has stepped up to support the recovery efforts in Western North Carolina. Our mission is to help rebuild and furnish 20 homes in the South Toe community.

Below, you’ll find a list of our current needs and ways you can get involved. Together, we can make a lasting difference.

GRACE BY EXAMPLE’S CURRENT NEEDS LIST

 

Grace By Example is on a mission to help rebuild 20 homes for families impacted by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.

We are currently raising funds and accepting in-kind donations to support this effort.

 

Current Needs:

  • Replace a mobile home or build a “shotgun” (long) home for a family devastated by Hurricane Helene
  • Demolish and haul off a hurricane-damaged mobile home
  • Build a covered deck replacement for a hurricane-damaged mobile home
  • Purchase a storage box or building for belongings from a hurricane-damaged mobile home
  • Purchase log cabin kits or stick-built home materials for 20 homes
  • Purchase roofing materials for 20 homes
  • Purchase twenty (20) 60,000 BTU (2.5-ton) dual-fuel split hybrid heat pump systems
  • Purchase 40 Panasonic bathroom fans (20 homes)
  • Purchase 200 LED canister light sets (20 homes)
