As I sit at my desk today, I am prayerfully  thankful for the rebuilding of homes, lives and businesses that are occurring in western North Carolina.  Matthew 22:36-39

Here are pictures of two of the homes being built.

I think a lot about all that is going on in WNC. It was nice to go with my church mission team to work with three families being helped by another outstanding nonprofit “Baptist On a Mission” this past week. It is great to see how the churches, nonprofits such as Samaritan's Purse, https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ , Baptist on a Mission ,https://baptistsonmission.org/ ,Rebuild Hollars, https://rebuildinghollers.org/  , Grace By Example, https://www.gracebyexample.org , and other nonprofits  are banding together to meet  the needs of the 73,000 families  in the small communities of western North Carolina impacted by Hurricane Helene. The North Carolina Office of the Governor notes that there was 60 Billion dollars worth of damage done in western North Carolina. After all federal, state and insurance funds are used there will be a 29.9 BILLION SHORTFALL in helping these families  and businesses.

Grace By Example is deeply committed to providing assistance to families in need.

As “Giving Tuesday and the end of the year approaches I prayerfully request your assistance in addressing these families pressing needs.
