Hurricane Helene 73,000 homes  damaged - $59.6 billion dollars -  https://www.osbm.nc.gov/hurricane-helene-dna/open  page 5

For more than 600 days, Grace By Example had the privilege to support multiple families and individuals impacted by Hurricane Helene. One of those individuals is a gentleman whose home, belongings, utility buildings, and work equipment were destroyed by Hurricane Helene on September 27, 2024. The storm caused a 1,000-year flood, leaving him without insurance coverage and with only limited FEMA assistance. With generous support from Samaritan’s Purse, his home will soon be completed, and some household items, appliances, and furniture have been donated. However, he still needs many essentials. Grace By Example is raising $15,000 to help replace needed household goods and furniture not covered by other donations, as well as a utility building, mowers, and other equipment lost in the flood.

·      $6000.00 -Utility Building to replace utility buildings lost

·      $5000.00 - Mower and yard equipment $5000.00 lost when utility building flooded

·      $2000.00 Household Goods not covered by other Nonprofits

·      $2000.00 Moving Expenses to be covered by Grace By Example.

Total $ 15,000.00
