As I sit at my desk this evening there is so much to be thankful for.  There are still according to the NC OSBM website 73,000 homes devastated by the hurricane a to be built or repaired and a deficit of $29.9 Billion dollars once FEMA and insurance companies make their last payments BUT THE RECOVERY AND REBUILD ARE UNDER WAY!!!!!

Numerous nonprofits, churches, and businesses are opting to provide unwavering transformational support to families who have experienced profound losses rather than offering transactional assistance. These organizations are not only contributing time, expertise, financial resources, and tangible support but also conveying a steadfast commitment to accompany families throughout their recovery journey. They are offering a shoulder to lean on during their most challenging moments.

It has been a privilege and honor for Grace By Example to have completed nine projects by the grace of God.Grace By Example is currently collaborating with six families, five of which have their rebuilds underway, and one to commence soon.  See the Grace By Example Project List   https://www.gracebyexample.org/projects

Of greater significance, volunteers have made a conscious decision to forge transformational relationships with families, thereby demonstrating to individuals through acts of compassion the profound love and mercy embodied by Jesus Christ. Matthew 22: 36-39

Moving forward through the end of the year, Grace By Example has developed a need list with a goal try to prayerfully help build twenty houses /home for families in western North Carolina. On the Grace By Example Home page click on “What We Do”  to see our current “Needs List”!
