Grace By Example Weekly Prayer


Dear Lord,

 

As the Grace By Example Team seeks Your guidance tonight, our hearts continue to break for western North Carolina. Nearly two years after Hurricane Helene, the devastation is still a daily reality. I spoke this evening with a mother who is living in a camper with her family for 673 days, waiting for a home. Yet, in her hardship, she reminded me, “We are on God’s time, not our own.”



With 73,000 homes ruined, these families lost their safe havens and lifelong stability. We promised to stay in the trenches with them. Please grant us the stamina, patience, and strength to walk this long journey together. Help us match her faith, bringing the comforting presence of Jesus as we help them rebuild a hopeful future.

 

The Grace By Example team hopes that people will see our true mission. Let them understand we are not trying to grow big as a nonprofit but are focused entirely on building transformational relationships. May these connections show Your love and mercy to the families we have the absolute privilege to serve.

Amen.

 

CURRENT NEEDS

  • $6000.00 -Utility Building to replace utility buildings lost

  • $5000.00 - Mower and yard equipment $5000.00 lost when utility building flooded

  • $2000.00 Household Goods not covered by other Nonprofits

  • $2000.00 Moving Expenses to be covered by Grace By Example.

  • $10,000 for a covered deck, steps etc. for a mobile home.

Total $ 25,000.00
