281 days! I am very thankful for the work being done to help the families that were apocalyptically impacted by Hurricane Helene. With that being said, there is so much destruction and work to be done to get these families back into homes and return to a more normal life. It seems that the mainstream media has moved on yet there is so much to do. The long term recovery will require groups, churches, organizations to help the people of Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee to recover or it will not get done. These videos show the type of destruction that persists and the rebuilding of homes for families.

A home that was destroyed during the Hurricane.

Homes are being built in the South Toe Community to replace those lost to Hurricane Helene!

Land excavation is underway for the Johnson Family home. Read more about their story under WNC Communities
New Homes on Blue Rock Road.
